Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST standards)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to design data-driven solutions for public policy challenges
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling data visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation processes and documentation
- Stay current with emerging data analytics techniques and federal reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal or government data analysis roles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expertise in data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, 5 CFR Part 2635)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality analytics under tight deadlines
- Active federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
