Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large-scale datasets from various federal sources to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar visualization tools to present key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analysis and trend forecasting to support strategic planning and mission objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and improve reporting methodologies.
- Ensure all data analysis adheres to federal regulations, security protocols, and agency standards.
- Document data processes and maintain a clear audit trail for all analytical activities.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and support urgent decision-making needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the Federal Government or Defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and extracting data; experience with Python or R for advanced analysis is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Familiarity with federal data standards (e.g., DFARS, FIPS) and data security policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
