Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets from various federal and public sources to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Ensure strict data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST) and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports, executive summaries, and presentations for federal oversight committees and senior leadership.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in the documentation of data governance policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal or government data analysis, preferably in a cleared environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of federal data standards, privacy laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain or possess a Public Trust clearance (or higher) is highly preferred.
