Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and validate data from various federal sources to ensure accuracy and consistency across all databases.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal regulations, including FISMA and NIST standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and technical leads to define data requirements and optimize analytical processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data workflows and recommend technical solutions to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI is essential.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and quality assurance.
