Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for internal reporting.
- Visualization: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize complex data for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports and briefings for senior leadership and program managers.
- Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve data from various government databases and ensure data integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal regulations and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal or defense contracting sector.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Experience with Agile methodologies and project management software.
