- Reporting: Develop clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
- Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within federal data streams.
- Collaboration: Partner with project managers and technical leads to define data requirements and reporting standards.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling practices adhere to federal security protocols and data governance standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for data processes and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases and experience with Python or R is highly preferred.
- Visualization: Demonstrated experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Work Ethic: A self-starter mentality with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
