Responsibilities
- Collect and Clean Data: Gather, validate, and clean large datasets from various federal sources to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within complex data sets.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create detailed technical reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau and PowerBI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal regulations, including NIST standards and agency-specific policies.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT and operations teams to develop and implement data governance strategies and improve workflow efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise recommendations for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal or government contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret security clearance is required.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
