Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, R, and Python to support agency objectives
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder reporting
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal security protocols (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and project deliverables
- Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations in technical reports
- Support ad-hoc data requests and provide real-time analytical support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with federal or government datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, R/Python, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 24 CFR)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active security clearance or eligibility for federal background check
