Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various federal sources to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership and government stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., FISMA, NIST), and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement scalable data solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to junior analysts on data tools and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Strong understanding of federal data standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Security Clearance (Public Trust or Secret) is a plus.
