Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and support policy decisions
- Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau/Power BI for executive leadership reporting
- Ensure all data processing adheres to HIPAA, FISMA, and VA compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights for veteran programs
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support strategic initiatives
- Document data methodologies and maintain data integrity protocols
- Present findings to senior stakeholders through executive briefings and reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience in federal/government sector
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of federal data regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, 21st Century Cures Act)
- Advanced skills in data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Experience with ETL processes and large-scale database management
- Certification in federal compliance (e.g., CISSP, CIPP) highly desirable
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
