Responsibilities
- Analyze complex veteran healthcare datasets to identify trends and inform strategic initiatives
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for leadership reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on VA modernization projects
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive summaries
- Maintain secure data pipelines using Python/SQL
- Lead quality assurance protocols for federal reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of data analysis experience in federal/government sector
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with VA healthcare systems or federal data ecosystems
- Strong statistical modeling and predictive analytics skills
- Experience with federal reporting requirements (FMR, OMB guidelines)
