Role Overview
As a Federal Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable intelligence for federal agencies. You will ensure data integrity, security compliance, and deliver high-impact visualizations that drive decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy for federal reporting requirements.
- Advanced Analytics: Utilize statistical methods and modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within complex data structures.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to strict federal security protocols, including CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) handling and FedRAMP compliance standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts and program managers to define data requirements and translate complex data into understandable business insights.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation; experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Visualization: Strong command of visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or data analytics certifications are a plus.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
