Responsibilities
- Data Management: Gather, clean, and validate large-scale datasets from federal systems and databases.
- Analytics & Modeling: Perform complex statistical analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Reporting: Create compelling, interactive visualizations and executive summaries for government stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal standards, including FISMA and NIST guidelines.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate raw data into actionable business intelligence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Certification: Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (required for federal roles).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (advanced), Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
