Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators for stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data security standards, confidentiality protocols, and compliance requirements (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Perform statistical modeling and forecasting to predict future outcomes and support resource allocation.
- Document data processes, methodologies, and findings in clear, concise technical reports and presentations.
- Conduct regular audits of data integrity to ensure accuracy and reliability of information systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Deep understanding of federal regulations, procurement processes, and data governance policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
