Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that directly support federal program objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI to effectively communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data security standards, including FISMA compliance, NIST guidelines, and secure data handling protocols.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including program managers and subject matter experts, to define data requirements and develop robust analytical methodologies.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, executive briefings, and data summaries that translate complex metrics into clear, strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree is preferred).
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one prior to start).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong preference for experience within the federal government or government contracting sector.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for database querying and strong skills in Python or R for statistical modeling and data manipulation.
- Deep understanding of data governance, privacy laws, and federal compliance regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and FISMA.
