Responsibilities
- System Administration: Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure and servers.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard sensitive government data.
- Project Management: Lead technical initiatives and coordinate with cross-departmental teams to upgrade legacy systems.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and guidance to internal staff and external vendors.
- Compliance: Ensure all IT activities adhere to state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Virtualization, and Cloud technologies.
