Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support agency decision-making
- Develop automated data pipelines ensuring compliance with federal security standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Create interactive dashboards and reports for government stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements for federal projects
- Maintain strict data governance protocols for sensitive government information
- Present findings to senior leadership with actionable recommendations
- Stay current on federal data regulations and emerging analytical technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal government or defense contractors
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with federal data compliance frameworks (FISMA, HIPAA, 508 accessibility)
