In this role, you will be the bridge between complex raw data and actionable government intelligence. You will ensure data integrity, compliance with strict federal standards, and deliver compelling visual narratives that drive decision-making for our key federal clients.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Extract, clean, and validate large datasets from diverse federal sources, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with federal data standards.
- Advanced Analytics: Utilize statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within government datasets.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and develop interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) and comprehensive reports that translate complex data into clear, strategic insights for stakeholders.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST security protocols, ensuring all data handling practices meet rigorous federal government requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts and government clients to define analytical needs and deliver solutions that solve real-world challenges.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analytical processes for future audits and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal sector or a government contractor environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
- Visualization: Strong command of visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance (if not already held).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences and senior leadership.
