Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from federal sources to ensure accuracy and compliance with NIST standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and briefings for federal stakeholders and leadership, translating complex data into clear insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement data governance policies.
- Ensure all data handling processes adhere to strict federal security protocols and privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret/Top Secret) is highly preferred.
