The Role:
You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting vast amounts of data to support decision-making processes. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with federal regulations and improve the effectiveness of our government clients' programs.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management: Collect, clean, and validate federal datasets from various sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data governance standards.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical modeling and trend analysis to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and executive summaries using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools to communicate findings clearly.
- Compliance Support: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and agency-specific security protocols.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of methodologies, data sources, and analysis results for audit trails.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a federal government or defense contracting environment.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required. Must be willing to undergo a background investigation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and persuasive narratives for non-technical audiences.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
