Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate massive federal datasets from various sources to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis.
- Dashboard Development: Design and maintain interactive visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Federal Compliance: Ensure all data handling practices adhere to strict federal regulations, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST standards.
- Statistical Modeling: Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast trends and support strategic planning.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for executive leadership.
- Collaboration: Partner with IT and program management teams to integrate data systems and optimize workflow processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Polygraph is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS; experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Oracle) is highly desirable.
- Visualization: Strong working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
