Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large volumes of federal data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government standards (FISMA).
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and trend forecasting to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare clear, concise, and visually compelling briefings and written reports for senior leadership and government clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data gaps and implement process improvements.
- Ensure strict adherence to cybersecurity protocols and data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases and Python/R for statistical modeling.
- Expert knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
