Responsibilities
- General Office Support: Perform a variety of clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and data entry to maintain organized records.
- Customer Service: Greet visitors, answer incoming phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Document Management: Process incoming and outgoing mail, prepare correspondence, and ensure all documents are accurately filed according to federal standards.
- Record Keeping: Update and maintain electronic databases and physical files to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Meeting Support: Assist in preparing meeting rooms, taking minutes, and organizing materials for daily briefings.
- Special Projects: Assist team members with ad-hoc administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: No prior federal experience is required. Basic computer literacy and general office knowledge are preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public and staff.
- Integrity: Ability to pass a mandatory background check and adhere to strict federal security protocols.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
