Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming federal paperwork, contracts, and correspondence with high accuracy and strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- Assist in the preparation, formatting, and submission of grant applications and federal compliance reports.
- Conduct research on federal regulations, policies, and procedural updates to ensure organizational compliance.
- Provide administrative support to federal project managers, including scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence, and managing calendars.
- Coordinate logistics for federal site visits and public outreach events in the NYC area.
- Maintain and update internal databases with accurate data entry for federal project tracking.
- Answer phones and direct inquiries to the appropriate federal department personnel.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a government, legal, or corporate setting.
- Background Check: Must be willing and able to pass a standard background check and security clearance screening.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with federal officials and the public.
- Education: Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; High school diploma with equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Detail Oriented: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
