Responsibilities
- Oversee multi-million dollar federal programs ensuring compliance with OMB and agency regulations
- Develop strategic plans and performance metrics for homeland security initiatives
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local government stakeholders
- Manage budgets, contracts, and procurement processes
- Prepare congressional reports and executive briefings
- Lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure program alignment with agency mission and DHS priorities
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years federal program management experience
- GS-12 level or equivalent experience in government service
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and OMB guidelines
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
