Responsibilities
- Manage electronic health record systems (EHR) ensuring HIPAA compliance and data integrity
- Oversee medical coding and documentation processes for VA facilities
- Implement health information privacy policies in accordance with federal regulations
- Conduct audits of health information systems to ensure regulatory compliance
- Train staff on health information management best practices

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- RHIA or RHIT certification required
- 3+ years of health information management experience in federal healthcare
- Proficiency in EHR systems (VA VistA experience preferred)
- Knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
