Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health initiatives targeting Baltimore communities
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and local government
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and program needs
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets and resources
- Conduct community outreach and educational workshops on health topics
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state leadership and regulatory compliance
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health program coordination or community health
- Strong knowledge of Maryland public health regulations and frameworks
- Experience with data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Excellent grant writing and budget management skills
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Valid Maryland driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings/weekends
