Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats in metropolitan Kansas City
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for public health interventions and policy improvements
- Collaborate with local health departments and community organizations on outreach programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders including state legislators
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on health equity initiatives
- Monitor compliance with federal and state public health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis or program evaluation
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Strong understanding of MOU and grant management processes
- Excellent written communication skills for policy documents and public reports
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders including community leaders
- Valid Missouri driver's license
