Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure systems supporting critical defense operations
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect classified data and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technology solutions aligned with strategic objectives
- Conduct system audits, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement performance optimizations
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party IT service contracts
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and disaster recovery plans
- Mentor junior staff and stay current with emerging technologies through continuous training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive IT experience with federal systems or DoD infrastructure
- Active Security+ CE certification and DoD 8570.01-M compliance (IAT Level II or higher)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), network architecture, and enterprise-level security protocols
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and database management
- Demonstrated project management experience with complex technical deployments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
