Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed requirements analysis for government IT projects and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet strict government security and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and project managers, to ensure project success.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance, and post-implementation support to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal regulations, including data privacy laws and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Document technical processes and create training materials for end-users and internal staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or a related technical role within the public sector or a highly regulated industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with government frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP, or state-specific compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain a background check and security clearance.
