Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain complex federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive federal data from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and federal agencies.
- Ensure strict compliance with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) and Department of Defense (DoD) security protocols.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security patching.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and upgrade legacy systems.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or similar technical support roles.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under strict deadlines.
