Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures for federal agencies.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security standards and NIST protocols.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior staff members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IT modernization initiatives.
- Document technical configurations and maintain detailed incident reports.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one (US Citizenship required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Proficiency with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls (ASA/Firepower).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
