The Role:
In this pivotal position, you will oversee the full lifecycle of federal IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and strictly adhere to federal compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Project Governance: Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations), FISMA, and agency-specific security protocols.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients and internal leadership, providing regular status reports and risk assessments.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and subject matter experts.
- Budget & Resource Management: Develop detailed project budgets, track expenditures, and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Agile & Waterfall: Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum and Waterfall) based on project requirements.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI) or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal government contracting or IT project management.
- Certification: PMP, PgMP, or similar Project Management Professional certification.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and acquisition processes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
