Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal IT security protocols across classified and unclassified networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Manage incident response for cybersecurity threats following NIST frameworks
- Develop security policies compliant with FISMA and CUI requirements
- Lead cross-agency security awareness training programs
- Monitor and analyze security logs using SIEM tools
- Coordinate with DHS cybersecurity teams on threat intelligence sharing
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT security roles
- Certification in CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency with NIST SP 800-53 and FISMA compliance
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills for threat detection and mitigation
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance if not already held
