Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to 24/7 cybersecurity threats during night shift hours
- Implement federal IT security protocols across classified and unclassified systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of federal networks
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams during emergency incident response
- Maintain compliance with FISMA, NIST, and federal cybersecurity frameworks
- Document security incidents and generate executive-level reports
- Provide remote technical support to federal employees across time zones
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (required)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity or federal IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+ CE and CISSP certifications (or equivalent)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, ArcSight) and IDS/IPS systems
- Knowledge of CMMC, FedRAMP, and DoD security requirements
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM ET)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
