Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the federal network infrastructure to ensure high availability and security.
- Configure and manage enterprise-level servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Enforce federal cybersecurity policies and compliance standards (FISMA, NIST) to protect sensitive data.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware and software systems within the agency.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning to optimize IT operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and streamline workflows.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate inventory of IT assets.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in federal or military IT environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Cisco networking, Microsoft Active Directory, Linux administration, and virtualization technologies.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or CISSP is highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
