Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT systems and networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and cybersecurity threat mitigation
- Manage system upgrades and ensure compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Provide technical support to federal agencies across the Dallas region
- Develop disaster recovery protocols and business continuity plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT modernization initiatives
- Document system configurations and maintain security audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years experience in federal IT infrastructure management
- Active Security+ CE certification and/or CISSP preferred
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, FedRAMP)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
