Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data and systems
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for 500+ federal employees
- Coordinate system upgrades and migrations while ensuring minimal operational disruption
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, policies, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system integrations
- Stay current on federal IT regulations (FISMA, NIST) and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of professional IT administration experience
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one within 6 months
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to work occasional overtime during critical system updates
