Job Summary
The selected candidate will be responsible for the planning, implementation, operation, and maintenance of IT systems and network infrastructure. You will ensure the security, integrity, and availability of data in compliance with federal standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex IT infrastructure for federal clients.
- Monitor system performance and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical applications.
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Document system architecture and maintain detailed technical logs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting or defense environments.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux administration.
- Strong knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CCNA is a plus.
