Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal clients.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps.
- Analyze complex system logs and troubleshoot high-impact technical issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with FISMA, NIST, and ITIL standards.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to define technical requirements.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Document system configurations and maintain accurate technical records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
- 5+ years of experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols and data protection laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
