Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT systems, networks, and applications.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security protocols to ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees and contractors.
- Document system configurations, security policies, and incident reports in accordance with federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical federal services.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT environments or information systems security.
- Proficiency with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and network infrastructure.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations, policies, and cybersecurity frameworks.
