Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and administer network systems and infrastructure to support federal operations.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance with DoD standards.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Conduct system performance analysis and optimize network efficiency for mission-critical applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy IT solutions that meet federal requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and security policies.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with federal IT environments, preferably within the Department of Defense.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, firewall configuration, and network security best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
