Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning to execution and closing.
- Ensure all state and federal compliance standards are met for every project deliverable.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate communication between technical teams and executive leadership.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve government service delivery.
- Conduct regular status meetings and produce detailed progress reports for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the public sector or government.
- Proven experience managing complex software development or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of state government procurement processes and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
