Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of federal information systems and networks.
- Ensure compliance with strict federal regulations, including NIST, FISMA, and OMB guidelines.
- Manage cybersecurity protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement security patches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to modernize legacy systems and improve efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and training to junior staff and agency personnel.
- Document all technical processes, changes, and compliance reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance is highly preferred; willingness to obtain clearance is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in federal, defense, or large-scale enterprise IT environments.
- Skills: Proficiency in Agile methodologies, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting and briefings.
