Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot the agency's on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime for federal operations.
- Implement and enforce federal cybersecurity protocols, ensuring strict compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Provide advanced technical support and training to federal employees regarding hardware, software, and network access.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to protect sensitive citizen data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable software solutions for federal programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, incident reports, and technical procedures.
- Assist in the procurement process for IT hardware and software, ensuring vendors meet federal contracting regulations.
Qualifications
- Active U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Three years of professional experience in network administration, systems analysis, or information technology support.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal IT regulations, including FedRAMP and OMB Circular A-130.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing technical reports and briefing senior leadership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing federal priorities.
