Role Overview:
The successful candidate will provide technical support and security solutions for federal clients, ensuring compliance with strict government regulations and implementing robust cybersecurity measures.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal agencies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to respond to incidents in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards such as FISMA, NIST, and HIPAA.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and client personnel.
- Document security policies, configurations, and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT environments or cybersecurity.
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or SSCP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
