Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage federal IT infrastructure during night operations to ensure 24/7 availability.
- Execute nightly system patches, updates, and security configurations.
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents and system alerts during off-hours.
- Conduct detailed documentation of system performance and security events.
- Perform physical security checks and access control verification for server rooms.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and issue resolution.
- Assist in the configuration and troubleshooting of network hardware and software.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network operations.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and networking protocols.
- Must be willing to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
