Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain federal IT systems, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Implement and enforce federal security protocols and compliance standards.
- Provide technical support and training to federal staff and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade hardware and software.
- Document all system configurations and changes according to policy.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT support or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
