Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain secure federal IT systems including network infrastructure, servers, and cloud platforms
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect classified and sensitive government data
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees across multiple agencies
- Develop and maintain system documentation, disaster recovery plans, and compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations and policy adherence
- Monitor system performance using advanced analytics tools and proactively address vulnerabilities
- Lead IT modernization projects aligned with federal mandates and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal IT systems administration or cybersecurity
- Active Security+ CE certification and/or CISSP preferred
- Proficiency in federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP)
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create technical documentation
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Experience with remote team collaboration and virtual project management
