Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems, networks, and security protocols
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for federal agency clients
- Implement cybersecurity measures compliant with federal standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Document system configurations, incidents, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on federal infrastructure projects
- Monitor system performance and proactively address vulnerabilities
- Ensure compliance with federal procurement and security regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT systems or government contracting
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and virtualization
- Strong understanding of federal security protocols and compliance frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance (pre-existing clearance preferred)
